Having listened to this new album a couple of times, I am very disappointed, especially after their last effort: 'One Day It Will Please Us To Remember Even This' in 2006, which was immense!! I have listened to the new album a couple of times, in the hope it will grow on me, but it just hasnt. The first couple of tracks are great (check the dolls myspace for a listen at www.myspace.com/newyorkdolls) but then after that, it sounds more like a poor Johansen solo album than the dolls to me. What ever happened to Syl's influence, and his awesome licks that we know and love?? I have to say there is nothing wrong with th album, but it is just not the Dolls that we know. The last track is great and rockin' but for me it is too little too late!

I was getting ready to buy it, but then saw EVERYONE on Chatterbox gave it a pretty bad review. Adding insult, is the fact that there are a couple digital-download-only tracks. I am still waiting to hear about the 5-track live EP that came w/ some editions of the CD.

Yeah... that pisses me off that people who buy it from the good old record shops dont get the extras!
