Pallidium Oct. 6th(bit late)

Post Remarkably Dressed on Sun Nov 11, 2007 8:18 pm

Well just to start off, THE BEST CONCERT I HAVE EVER HAD THE PLEASURE OF ATTENDING

The AMAZING setlist was...

Stop Me If You Think You've Heard This One Before / You Have Killed Me / Sister, I'm A Poet / I Like You / The Loop / Whatever Happens, I Love You / Irish Blood, English Heart / That's How People Grow Up / Why Don't You Find Out For Yourself? / In The Future When All's Well / Tomorrow / Disappointed / I'm Throwing My Arms Around Paris / Stretch Out And Wait / All You Need Is Me / Billy Budd / London / Dear God, Please Help Me / How Soon Is Now? /

Encore/ First Of The Gang To Die

I'm surprised He played less Smiths songs this time, not that I'm complaing but hearing Stretch Out And Wait live was just fantastic( '105 years ago...there was this song), and London aswell.

He came out in a purple shirt and grey pants(he looked good, seems he's lost weight).

I was about 15 feet away when we arrived but towards the middle after he tossed his first shirt, the crowd shifted and got smashed together so I was about 10 feet away.

He seemed very happy and joked a lot. He was in a MUCH better mood than last time. The crowd was better aswell. Two girls next to me nearly in tears because they were seeing him, kinda awkward. One guy made it on stage and hugged Moz, much to his delight. A lot of crowd surfers. One in paticular was on his knees blowing kisses to him before shaking his hand. Certain parts of songs Moz would go and sing to people and shake their hand.

He did the whole 'Americans are sick to death of republicans*crows cheers* thing. Also at that part, Irish blood English heart, this I'm made of' he rubbed his chest and head and said 'see'.

Also on Dear God please Help Me at 'I'm spreading your legs' The crowd made 'woo hoo's and such and he was like 'Well, I'm trying to'

He thanked everyone for driving out here from glendale and other places and said 'most of you probably came from beverly hills' which was followed by a bunch of 'boos' and he laughd and kept saying 'I'm kidding!'

He threw another shirt into the crowd, which I hear some girl was able to run off with intact.

He gave the microphone to Julia..Julie?..(bleh) and some other lady who requested something from 'Kill Uncle' Which he replied to with 'As long as their is blood in my veins, I will not, don't rake up my old mistakes' hahaha

BOZ PLAYED A FUCKING CLARINET

His band were all wearing matching Morrissey shirts

My grandpa bought me a bootleg shirt, It's beautiful

Now, How I came into possession of a peice of his glorious shirt is after the convert I made my way to the front as people started to leave to try and ask for something(setlist...towel SOMETHING!) andd a security gaurd through one of Moz's shirts into the crowd, i waited a bit before I went over to see like 9 people struggling for it(one was a guy..hahah) and I dunno, I felt like trying to get a peice so I grabbed on and was pulled around a bit, trying not to step on anyone. A security gaurd came to us and shouted 'HEY HEY HEY, WATCH!' and he started cutting bits so i was only having a tug a war against some chick and she's all 'Let go' and iI just looked at her like 'err no...' and I asked the security gaurd to cut ours and he did, I said thanks and me and my Grandpa left. MY FINGERS HUUUURT.

I was basically deaf when I left the concert and my voice was going from all the screaming.

I also elbowed a girl in the head a couple of times cos some asswipe decided to randomly start moshing and hit my arm into this poor ladies head. Although it didn't seem like she even noticed....

It was fucking packed, It wass old out I hear, i was smashed from all side but it was brilliant

I probably forgot tons of stuff so If I remeber anything else I'll add it with some pictures

Isnt it awesome to walk out of a concert feeling like it was one of the greatest?! It sucks when you spend about a hundred bucks, wait anxiously for a month (or two), and then walk out of a show shrugging your shoulders.

The DC show left me satisfied and fulfilled! Amazing tour and superb setlist! "Stop Me..." is AWESOME live!!

Lemme ask you, when everyone fights over the shirt, are they throwing punches at each other or is everyone sorta smiling as they pull it apart?!
